You can walk from the house to the Kokunbuji station or ride on the bus which is like 2 to 3 minutes. Her place is a bit far from the main Shinjuku station by train and walking but if you don’t mind that, it’s a nice place to rest for the night. Easy to take the bus to the train stations. This apartment was in a great location, minutes away from the train station and many bus links. The “three central wards” of Tokyo - Chiyoda, Chūō and Minato - are the business core of the city, with a daytime population more than seven times higher than their nighttime population.

It’s an excellent value and was easy to get to and from Tokyo whike being away from the noise of the city in a beautiful mountain town. Met us at the train station, bought us lemon tea, served us hot tea and crackers when we got to the house, and gave us a little tour of the area.
After the war, Tokyo was completely rebuilt and was showcased to the world during the 1964 Summer Olympics The 1970s brought new high-rise developments such as Sunshine 60 , a new and controversial 26 airport at Narita in 1978 (some distance outside city limits), and a population increase to about 11 million (in the metropolitan area).
